Our Farm

We have two greenhouses and four hoop houses in Cleveland’s Forgotten Triangle, where we are growing healthy, organic vegetables for area residents and businesses. We also train people on urban farming and economic sustainability. The Rid-All Farm harvests 150 to 200 pounds of vegetables a week that’s distributed to local restaurants, institutions and consumers. Tomatoes, lettuce, zucchini, peppers, celery, collard greens, kale, broccoli, spinach and herbs such as sweet basil, thyme, and oregano are grown. Marc S. White is the Rid-All site manager and farmer.

  1. Hello

I am a teacher at Washington Park, a greenhouse/horticulture Cleveland high school. I am writing about a fine student. He’s an eleventh grader. He’d
like to go to college and I’d like to help him get there. He needs a
volunteer opportunity. From mapquest I can see that he lives 1.4 miles away at Woodhill and Holton. He is raised by his Auntie, someone I have known for years. Someone who is very dedicated to this boy and needs to be super, super sure things are safe and above board to allow her boy to participate. Do you have opportunity for a very capable boy? Very mature, needs the role-modeling, very respectful. I couldn’t say enough about him. He is going to need support from the right people to get him into the college of his dreams and to further bless him in his future.
Please help me to help him.
